This 4-day course details are comprehensive with emphasis on the practicalities of
inspection and testing. Time will be given to the study of documentation; when documents
are to be issued and which documents to issue. Practical inspection and testing work will
be carried out on site and test results processed to satisfy statutory obligations.
Continuous assessment through in-course question / answer sessions, and practical assessment of competence to safely carry out electrical inspection and testing, and maintenance of a safe system of work.
Delegates will be under the guidance of the course trainer for all practical tasks:
Practical testing of a caravan holiday home (practice)
Practical testing of a caravan holiday home (under examination)
The aim of this course is to provide training for selected persons in the skills and knowledge to achieve the standards of competence necessary to carry out work safely when inspecting and testing electrical installations in caravan holiday homes. Further, to provide a translation of the current Acts, Regulations and Standards, for promoting electrical safety; and the duty imposed on a person to work safely while at work.
This course is suitable for those engineers who have already completed
Electrical Maintenance on Parks – NCC Foundation Level or
SkillsActive-CITO Electrical Maintenance on Parks
or those persons who, through appropriate prior learning or experience, can satisfy the NCC Training Academy that they are eligible for this intermediate level course.
